The Goods

Whoa, hey… what’re you doing in here without a hard hat? How’d you get past security? Napping? Ugh. So hard to get good help these days.

Anyways, welcome to the Lazy Robot Story Factory. I’m Anthony and I’ll be your StoryBot. Now, if you’ll just come with me, right this way, I’d like to show you around and tell you about what it is we do (besides nap a lot) here at the Story Factory.

On December 1st my debut novel, Time Heist (Firstborn Saga Book One) will be available in both digital and paperback on Amazon. If you’re interested in pre-ordering your very own copy, follow this link right….HERE!

If you’re interested in getting updates on the Time Heist release, and free access to stories pertaining to the First Born Universe, then sign-up for my Newsletter.

Over at OneLazyRobot you’ll find all sorts of free short stories, and some not so free Novella’s, so stop on over and get your read-on.

Okay, we’re nearing the end of this carnival ride of wow, but as they say, all good things must come to an end. Be sure to keep your hands and feet inside the car until we’ve come to a complete stop.

Thanks so much for making the walk over to my virtual neighborhood. Now, I’ll be offended if you don’t keep in touch. So cruise down the page to find my contact information, or just drop me a line at Anthony@OneLazyRobot.com.

  1. Anthony, Not one for back slapping or ‘liking’ for the sake of site promoting ‘liking’. I just wondered what your take on the bit I’m writing at the moment is. I like the honest reviews you give on your site, you seem to know your stuff, and just thought since you stop by and read my ramblings, now and then, you could enlighten me. Never done anything worth really yelling about before- but this one, ‘dogs of war’ might be the one . It’s all I’m thinking about at the moment – and I reckon I have it all mapped out.

I know the draft is full of spelling crimes, but the story is there- or at least Ihope it is.

If you have the time for a quick thumbs up/ forget it kid/ go back to school – I’d appreciate the feedback.

    Cheers Gregg.

    • Hey Gregg, thanks for stopping by. Give me a couple days to read through all your Dogs of War entries and I’ll throw some thoughts your way. Not sure they’ll be helpful, but without feedback we’re all just stewing in mounds of our own words. A stinky, horrible place that makes improving our craft nearly impossible!

Real quick I will offer this, however:
      1. Never listen to anybody who would tell you to give up your writing. They are a bitter, hateful person who has nothing of benefit to offer you.

      2. Go back to school? Shit, everyday at the keyboard is like the first day of freshman year all over again. Butterflies and anxiety and acne. When writing, you’re always learning, always improving. If not, you’re a high minded, foo-foo, literary type who thinks he shits gold. Spoiler alert: nobody shits gold, and so what if you did.. .it’s still shit covered gold.

      3. The fact that you are writing and putting it out there for the world to see and asking for feedback means you get all the thumbs up in the world from me.

Now give me a couple days and I’ll see if I can throw some actually beneficial advice your way.

If it falls flat on its face by page 1 – no worries. Thanks again for the pos vibes.

  3. Thank you for stopping by my pathetic little anthill o’ one! Most impressed with what I see here, so I will be back! I enjoy bloggers/writers who display cynical self-awareness, coupled with a sense of joy (contradictory, I know) in their stuff, and your knack for this comes through even in your short posts. I will certainly drop you a line–follow me on the twitter (listed on the blog) if you like. Talk soon…
